Fabricating
On a typical day in the fabrication department of Byars Machine Company, you might find us welding a delicate piece of aluminum for use as a satellite cover, fabricating a twenty-foot enclosure, plated with two inch thick steel plates, building hundreds of automotive racks, or any of a number of other jobs in between. We service clients from every industry, from routine cutting and welding jobs to custom curvature and precision metal components. Whether you need small precision sheet metal components or complex tubular weldments and assemblies, we can do the job. We work with aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, and brass, as well as other metal alloys and even sheet plastics.
Our fabrication equipment includes:
- two Trump CNC laser cutting machines
- an Atlantic 10-foot press brake
- an Atlantic hydraulic shear
- two Thermaldyne plasma cutters
- ten welding machines, including a Miller DeltaWeld 650 Amp,a Lincoln Invertec STT 300 Amp, and a Lincoln Tig 2753
- four manual and automatic saws
- two overhead cranes
- a 40' x 20' wet paint booth
